GINTVAINIS – Champion of Nike International Junior Tournament

Vilnius Lietuvos rytas club junior team, represented by SDG member Jokubas Gintvainis (1994, 191 cm), won the 10th Nike International Junior Tournament (NIJT) in Istanbul, Turkey. In the golden final they beat Fenerbahce Ulker team by the score 88:70 (22:20, 20:11, 20:16, 26:23).

Rudupis team won the bronze medals at Lithuanian basketball league (LBL). Members of SDG Simas Buterlevicius (1989, 200 cm) and Edgaras Zelionis (1989, 207 cm) won their first trophy in the season as Prienai Rudupis overcame Siauliai club 79:64 (19:11, 18:14, 21:18, 21:21) in the bronze final game of Lithuanian basketball league competition.
